I have never heard of any part of a 14 bolt or a dana 70 breaking.

I have typical Dana 60 rear hubs that use the 2.25" and 2" bearings. The problem is the spacing between the two bearings. The 11.5 also doesn't have the 3rd pinion support bearing on the end of the pinion snout like a 10.5 does, nor does it have a removable pinion setup.
