I'm running a 350 ram jet with a mallory fuel pump {Mallory 4060FI } using my stock fuel tank with a sump my factory sending unit is now my return line and the sump going to the fuel pump and motor is 1/2" line also using a mallory fuel filter {Mallory 3160 } also do not now on the 502 but on my 350 the stock oil pan would not fit.350 ramjet problems. i'm working on a 350 ramjet in a 1970 impala for a friend. they have put 3 in line fuel pumps on the car.the problem with it is that it keeps popping and backfiring on acceleration. is this a fuel problem or something internal like a cam shaft or a problem in the distributor it has no codes i would like a little input on ...
