The flywheel will get high and low spots therefore hotspots also. The new clutch disc will not wear correctly and will wear faster.To rebuild a stock aluminum flywheel, McLeod charges $125 plus shipping. It might loosen the crank bolt.So my car has what appears to be an aftermarket steel lightened flywheel. It's badly scored, so resurfacing would be required at the very least. I just measured the step height with digital calipers and came up with an average measurement of about 20.4mm or 0.803". From searching it seems like most agree that the spec is 20.00mm or 0.787".…
