This application is for students who entered as freshmen (not transfer students) and are pursuing the Psychology major. Admission into the major will be based on a student’s academic performance in the preparation for major courses.To reiterate, psychobiology has far more prereqs in STEM and falls more squarely in the life sciences. When you get to upper divs, you have more flexibility and will be taking more classes with psych majors with opportunities to take pure psychology and psychobiology courses, but the first 2 years of the psychobiology major will be literally just prep as a life science student.
