Use 1 whole syringe. 4.move the shaft up and down a bunch of times. 5. Use your finger to push as much grease in as you can. 6.pull the shaft back up as high as possible and tighten. My steering doesn't knock anymore and didn't have to take out my steering shaft.It's been my experience that the effort of attempting to successfully lubricate your U-joints has been better spent replacing the joint. Violating the rubber seals with a needle equates to an avenue to spew the grease you just injected into the joint-back out of the joint in a 360 degree pattern around the joints radius.
