OUR MISSION: The Foundation for TJO Animals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving local, homeless animals in Western Massachusetts. We are dedicated to helping animals in shelter at the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center receive the veterinary care they need to bring them to the adoption floor, and from there to their forever homes. Volunteers can participate in a number of ways, such as greeter, laundry, cat and dog kennel cleaning, dog walking/exercise, various types and levels of enrichment which are incorporated into most animal care roles, and fostering.
