OnDemand operates on the same schedule as SporTran's fixed-route service. First pickup times are 5 a.m. and last pickup times are 1:15 a.m. on weekdays; 5 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. If a holiday falls on a weekend, different schedules may apply. Check our website for updates. SporTran is one of the oldest public transportation systems in the south. SporTran has been in continual service for over 125 years with only one interruption due to the strike of 1957. SporTran operates seven days a week on 17 bus routes from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., with shorter operations on the weekends.
