It's not the fuse the bulb has burned out. If it was the fuse there would be more lights out than just the shifter locations. Those instructions work well, gently pry off silver plastic piece, gently pry out the bevel and then VERY gently pry out the shift cover/indicator - do not overpry or you will break the tabs off. That light is NOT a good indicator. The best way to learn it is to feel the pull, listen to the motor, or watch your tachometer. Learning 'why' to shift is better than learning 'when' to shift.
