My new mosin-nagant just arrived. I bought it online with my FFL and payed the extra $10 for "hand pick," total came to $120. Its a 1932 Hex receiver Tula. There are no import marks anywhere on the barrel or receiver, looks like it has never been shot. The serial number on the reciever is "4". What I found out was that apparently they didn't make any 1946 91/30s. At least, not many. Mine seems to be something of a rare find.The serial numbers on the bolt, butt plate and bottom of the magazine all have the same number 45343 however the safety knob (not sure of actual nomenclature) has 46343 but it almost looks like it was restruck, (I'll post a photo later the computer's giving issues.)
