The switch is normally closed, so if it opens or the connection is broken, Firecontrol thinks the torch has hit the metal.The higher pierce height is a huge benefit of THC - the pierce has a lot of flare upwards as it's establishing the arc and making it through the material. That will splash up to the consumables. It's not fatal which is why the original Crossfire works fine. You will need to take the .dfx file to a CAM program to post-process it into a filetype readable and runnable by FireControl.Click on all the holes and use the compensation option. Then, return to the top and open another cut profile with just the outside edges without it. Just make sure you post-process both files. Hello, I am trying to Peck using the drill tool on a Pro Plasma. A change in pierce delay in SheetCam does change the G-code correctly, but actual pierce time does NOT change from about .5 seconds.
