The Woodsrunner is the newest kit from Kiblers Longrifles. It’s currently available for pre-order and should be in production in the next few weeks. Inspired by an original rifle, commonly referred to as the "Woodsrunner" which many believe to have been made in the valley in Virginia during the 1760s. Reminiscent of a true frontier rifle.I can deal with having the lock in front of my face, but my concern is is 3/16” cast off in the stock. Will this make it tough for a lefty to properly align the sights? Any first hand experience from left handed shooters with Kibler rifles? The thing that stood out to me was how graceful the rifle is compared to most others in that book.The Kibler rifle parts are formed on CNC machinery. So, these are for all practical purposes machine made. Judging from the reviews, these are excellent rifles that require very little hand work to build a fine, functioning rifle. While I'm only 5'10", my two buddies who also built/shoot Kibler Colonial rifles, are over 6', and this was a point of discussion one day when we were shooting at the range. Bottom line was that they thought the Kiblers length of pull worked fine for them (perfect for me).We have photos in multiple places, but are working to consolidate this to make it easier for you to find inspiration!
