If one does have power then jump it to the other. If the fan comes on, the temp switch is bad. If it doesn't, with the wires still jumped, check for power at the fan. Put the other one on the neutral wire, and when the machine is in neutral it should have continuity with the engine block. If it doesn't the switch is stuck open. The fan switch is in the radiator, so it does not get hot enough to kick on when the thermostat is stuck shut. The needle seat has a small screen and it was plugged only letting a small amout of fuel into the bowl. Most of the jets were clear but I still used music wire and air to clear any blockages.2002 Prairie 300 4x4 - the starter button stopped working. I have systematically looked at the issue from the button itself down to the solenoid on to the starter and the battery. For the life of me I have no idea what is the problem. The starter button shows it has voltage reaching it. The battery is good (it works fine on my Praire 400).

The running board needs to be removed. The most difficult bolt to access on the cover is the one in like the 10 o’clock position on top rear of the cover.
