As it sits now, the base station is about 51’ from the lock on the garage door and the only barriers to a clear line of sight are the brick wall of the house exterior (although the base station is only 2’ from a window) and the garage door itself.I also recently installed a new system. After pulling the battery protection tabs, I had 2 of 5 door sensors report low battery warnings. After replacing the battery on one, I tested the battery with a multi-meter. The battery showed a fresh battery voltage. I became a bit suspicious, so on the other sensor I removed the battery and reinserted it.
