Pretty simple.. you need a strong drill for best and fast results...Start slowly then speed up to drill into the broken bit. Drill a hole between 1/8″ – 1/4” or otherwise deeper hole may creak down the previously broken bit resulting in harder to remove. Remove the broken drill bit: Set the screw extractor into the hole and twist counterclockwise using reasonable hand pressure.The left handed bit caught and removed 8 bolts without using an extractor. The 2 very rear bolts required some help. I drilled the bolts with the 3/16 left hand bit, then used one of the HF screw removers with a 3/8 ratchet. The screw remover caught the bolt and spun it right out without having to drill very deep.
