I did all of the basic stuff... reset the STB several times, reset the remote via the "A" and "D" buttons and then entering then 981 code. Still, the same issue. Also, I did have an old XR5 remote laying around.They received a RNG150N cable box with an XR2 remote. The XR2 remote paired easily with their TV and AVR. However, out of the box it will not communicate with the RNG150N cable box. I cannot power off, change channels, or send any commands to the box.
