After blasting you could go over the outer rim edge with different grits of sandpaper to end up with a decent looking quick fix. I'll try to put up a pic later of some I did.Use a clean cloth to wipe the wheel dry. Remove the pad and swap it for a Finishing pad. Apply a final polish compound to the wheel and then use the polisher to smooth and spread the polish around the wheel. This compound will complete the area to perfection and restore the mirror-like appearance.Get the wheel wet and apply your product.
