Jul 23, 2023 · Disassemble the carburetor, taking note of the placement of each part. Soak the parts in a carburetor cleaner solution for a few hours. Use a brush to scrub away any dirt or debris on the parts. Rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water. Inspect the parts for any damage and replace if necessary. Begin by spraying the outside of the carburetor with carburetor cleaner. Use a cleaning brush to help remove dirt and corrosion. A fuel system cleaner additive can be used to clean the inside of the carburetor by adding it to a full tank of gas.
