Ordered another engine- turned out to be an '85 engine, and all was going cool until, no spark!Turbo charged air behind a piston on the power stroke = Major loss of power. It works on a 4 cycle cause the valves hold the charge from the combustion chamber. The charged air is not sitting behind the piston. Voltage regulator has nothing to do with the ignition. The other 4 do, well part of the stator does, but not all of it.
