Only show this user. #1 · Jun 18, 2022. I snagged a VCM Tuner II with the most recent re-stock within the past week. I just installed it this morning. I currently have a little over 16k miles on our vehicle. This was my first time even pulling off the engine cover myself. I installed the S-VCM Controller - Disable VCM / deactivate VCM and stop ECO in Honda Acura one at about 115k on my 2012 to make sure it does well as it ages. It feels better driving in daily driving and loses the odd feeling as if it's gear hunting in the 40-50mph range.

Some people can detect the engine vibrations when its active and others have no clue.This is my list for keeping a smooth running Honda V6 engine…. Disable the VCM. Air filter New/Clean. Intake hose secured. No leaks. Clean MAF. Remove. With CRC. Electronic Cleaner or MAF Cleaner, spray a few short bursts directly into the visible electrodes (no soaking).A VCM disabling device solves a big problem, but it's not a replacement for good maintenance.
