My take is change the CVT fluid at 20,000 miles. Its not the products of combustion in the CVT that are the problem, it's the suspended particles of wear that bother me. Note the crap you get on the first fluid change, it's amazing. Anyway, it cost about $40 for the fluid and washers to complete the fluid change and about 30 min of your time.2) Power Loss.
