Yes, I do have separate controls for front and rear temperature. I'm not sure if that makes any difference if it were LX though. But yes, only DRIVER side is NOT getting heat at all. I'll try your method of blowing MAX CLOD air then switch to hot air afterward later today and update the status. 2015 LX Odyssey.Maximize. When the coolant ports plug up inside the heater core they plug up first on the side with low flow which happens to be the passenger side.cold air on driver side, hot air on passenger side. This would actually need a good scan tool with bidirectional controls and access to the HVAC data pids. If you have dual zone climate controls, there will be individual zone temperature sensors that should be read on the scan tool first. You'd want to run actuator tests on all the motors.Its funny, I just did a 2012 Passat TDI and the heater core from VW was all of $32. They told me they are junk so they are discounting them. Most likely, you have either a mechanical or electrical problem with the driver side blend door actuator or the HVAC control head. It's stuck in the "cold" position.
