I have a KelTec P-3AT, a Ruger LCP II, a Glock 42 and a Ruger LC9S Pro. For extended shooting while at range I have little issue with any of the 380's, but the trigger on the LCP II wins hands down over the rest. Smaller than the G42 makes it my primary pocket pistol, even IWB behind my right hip and IWB cross draw.The LC9s trigger does get a little blade safety a la GLOCK, which the LC9 trigger doesn’t. The video at top has close-up, slow trigger pulls and resets so you can see the difference in travel length, break, and reset distance with your own eyes. Conclusions. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ruger phased out the original LC9 carry gun completely.The LC9 slide. Both the G43 and LC9s-PRO have been reliable and cycled both bulk and JHP ammo without fail. If a limited capacity easily concealable pistol meets your requirements, then either will serve well. I added a grip sleeve to increase the girth for a better purchase on the thin grip.Better for home defense - SR9c [larger, with better grip and easier handling of recoil and follow up shots; Better for target/range - SR9c [longer site radius, inherently better accuracy; CCW/concealment - LC9. I like the Glock (well, because i have one) and the LC9s of the three you mentioned. The trigger on it is pretty darn nice. The Ruger comes in two flavors, a standard and pro model. The Standard has a magazine-dissconect and an external safety.
