I've had mine replaced twice, both sides, under warranty. My dealership suggested it was my lift and the 33" tires that is causing it, but he couldn't prove it was the cause. If anything, the lift would effect the cv joints, not the seals.

A couple days ago I noticed about a quarter sized oil spot on the floor of the garage, seems to drop about a quarter size overnight. Today I got around to taking a look underneath and it looks as though the oil is leaking from the bottom of the front differential.Measure what comes out and measure what amount goes in. It is easy to overfill the front differential-since there is no drain plug. And it isnt possible to remove an inspection plate like the rear differential. Hopefully-just getting the correct amount of fluid in the differential will stop the leak.

You don't say what year, but their are 2 styles of axles. The older one has 6 bolts to secure the CV shaft to the diff axle. Undo the bolts and remove the axle. Now take a heavy hammer and hit the inside of the axle flange to knock it outwards. It will pop out with little trouble. Front Differential Leaking. If it's around the seal (where the differential cover meets the differential) then it's literally put down some newspaper and a bucket underneath. Slowly remove the surrounding bolts. The cover may be stuck, so simply just pry it off with a screw driver.
