May 31, 2022 · It is official, CVA has announced the new CVA Wolf V2 and will be discontinuing the original Wolf model. We were able to get our hands on the Wolf V2 at SHOT Show 2022 and were very impressed with the overall feel and design. Non corrosive, I can shoot many rounds between a full cleaning with no issues. I shoot 100-105 grains with a 240grain Barnes T-EZ over it and it's a great shooter.

People hype the Bergara branded barrel but they all come out of the same factory in Bergara Spain. Aug 23, 2010 · As far as i Can tell the main differences are. 1) optima has 26" stainless barrel Vs wolf 24" blued. 2)thumbhole stock, i have never shot a thumbhole stock gun and am not sure if i will like it. 3)price the optima is about $90 more than the wolf however only $50 after i purchase the durasight -dead on sight that i think that i like.
