I'm impressed with the finish/texture/color of Aluma-hyde II (I use "matte black" which has the slightest sheen to it. In between flat and satin). However, I'm not super impressed with it wear. However, we have no experience with the Brownells product so cannot say for sure if that will prove to be the case.
