All Tonawanda blocks after 1970 had 2 digits for the year, in this case 74 for 1974. Kevin is right about it being a 1975 Camarop 350 engine, the CRX code and the VIN stamping on the pad confirm that. The one axle: CX0311B A118 X3917124NF GM3VF292800 - is an example of a over the counter crate engine. "2800" is the last 4 digits of the GM part # for the crate engine assembly.
