My personal opinion (and strictly mine) is that the rim size should be roughly 1/2 (+/- 1 inch) the tire size. 33 = 16/17 inch rims. 35 =17/18 in rims. If not going off road then 33's are fine without a lift, the tires look crammed into the wheel well though. 21 posts · Joined 2016. #4 · Feb 4, 2017. I believe the 16 and 17s have bigger wheel wells than the 13s. I have a 13 and my cousin has a 16. On my 13 I have it leveled with stock 20s and a 35x12.50.
