If the thermostat is stuck open, the engine temperature won't rise as quickly as expected and the ECM will go into protect mode because the lack of indicated normal temperature rise could also be from a bad sending unit.There is supposed to be a screen to filter out stuff from the inlet. This 2022 retro fitted Traverse does not have this setting. My dealer said to call Chevrolet Service at 800-222-1020 and talk to them. They had no answer for this issue.
