Filter is small can't take much dirt. Buy oem filters only. Do it seasonally or when needed. Keep fuel cans and tank clean. The noise is gear lash. Both my 08 and 09 are equally as bad. The 09's have the same bouncy pedal as the 08's you need the extension and it is much more manageable. I had problem with dirty fuel tank so put in aftermarket fuel filter, cleaned tank and did fuel tank vent mod. Todate this has been the only mod that works perfect by returning the oil in the best place. Started playing around with the 4 relays under the seat, when I disconnect the fuel pump relay and then re-connect it, I can get the bike to start and the FI light is not flashing. But this is not the case 100% of the time.The manual says its the O2 sensor heater. I would check the connection to the O2 sensor first (easiest) to make sure its clean and tight. If thats not the problem you'll need to get a manual. The rest of the troubleshooting is all electrical. You can get a manual here. So, I had that same code (67) come up this week. I ordered genuine OEM Kawasaki inner and outer CV joints, and +6" length axles from them. Their axles are 24 15/16" long, 5/16" longer than what I measured would fit, 24 5/8".
